Set within a historic Druid Hills residence, this living room renovation was guided by the home's original architecture and the belief that thoughtful updates should feel as though they have always belonged. The existing fireplace was removed and replaced with an antique surround, bringing a greater sense of authenticity and timeless character to the space while honoring the home's history.

A reimagined furniture layout improved both flow and functionality, while custom window treatments added softness and architectural presence. To create a memorable focal point, the ceiling was finished with hand-painted wallpaper, introducing subtle pattern and depth without competing with the room's historic details. New arched openings and a fresh coat of paint completed the transformation, creating a cohesive backdrop that feels collected, inviting, and true to the character of the home.
